677. Master Fisherman
Looks like today we’ll have an overview only of unusual Victorinox knives.
So, let me introduce another rare model – Master Fisherman. Earlier we already had a chance to meet with this knife, but this one has some minor differences (which can be recognized only by some crazy… I meant true collectors).
So, Master Fisherman, – technically it’s the same Fisherman but with pliers.
On the other hand – the same Angler Deluxe but with Phillips screwdriver instead of corkscrew.

What are the difference with the other master fisherman previously reviewed?
Hi,
If we’re talking about this one: https://leaf-vics.com/2017/07/573-master-fisherman.html, the difference is a presence of can-opener as part of back Phillips screwdriver
Also 573 has the later style pliers – ’87 > 95
This one is a bit older than 573 – 85-87
Hey Sir
From where did you get the name Master Fisherman? – SAKWiki says it may not be official!
Should this not be a Deluxe Fisherman in line with Angler and Tinker terminology?
Hi Ralph,
Yes, I know what Sakwiki says (because I’ve created this Page on SAKWiki )
As far as I remember, I got a confirmation from some valued collectors on forum.multitool.org regarding this naming.
By the way, Angler Deluxe was known under Waterman name, so it hard to understand a logic of Victorinox naming cinvention…
Regards,
Alex
Yes I know you created that page – That is why I asked you 😉 🙂
Thanks – I’ll dig around the forum!
I do think that Francis (ICanFixThat) made up his own names from time to time ;-o
Hope all well
Cheers for now
