737. Secretary (or Excelsior?)
This time we again faced Victorinox‘s practice of playing with models’ names. For the years I remember few similar models in 84 mm:
- Pocket Pal (two blades, no KR)
- Excelsior (two blades, with KR)
- Secretary (two blades, Alox scales, with/without KR)
- Sentry (one blade, no KR)
Can you imagine how surprised I was when I discovered that at least from 2011, Victorinox specified (in their catalogs) all these models under Excelsior name. I’ve tried to find any reason for this renaming, but with no success, maybe you have any idea?
