824. Gardener knife (Model 297)
Another day – another knife, but again just another Gardener from the same period, when these knives were produced from carbon steel.
I didn’t find any information about model ‘297/11‘ (as marked on tang), the closest model is a 1.9900 (see pictures below).
If I’m wrong, please let me know.
Update: this model was known as ‘No. 297‘ – at least it was specified in Victorinox catalogs from 1930s-1940s exactly in this manner.
