627. Angler Plus

The Victorinox Angler Plus – it’s an one from rare and vintage models, which were produced only during a relatively short period in the past. There are no too much information about this model, I don’t remember any official catalog with information about it. SAKWiki also still doesn’t have information about this knife (I’ve added this model to the full list, but didn’t created a new dedicated page yet).
So, Angler Plus – technically looks like regular Angler model plus additional wood-saw. Current one is a pretty vintage one with old-fashion awl and shackle.

619. Spirit XBS

In 2016 Victorinox released a “new edition” of two existing models of multi-tools: SwissTool and SwissTool Spirit. The main discrepance between old and new versions – black coating on new models (“Burnished steel“) and added crimper to the pliers. New models were released with names SwissTool BS and SwissTool Spirit XBS.

613. Troubleshooter

The Victorinox Troubleshooter is a 5-layers 91-mm knife, which is veru often associated with Marlboro company (as other model – Trail Guide) due to the fact, that during some period of time it was sold with logo of this company on the scales.

573. Master Fisherman

The Master Fisherman is a definetely rare model. There are no enough information about this model in the web (except some topics on MTO).
Even SAKWiki mentioned absolutely nothing about this unique knife (but few weeks ago one good fellow added new page with short description there! ;))
So, Master Fisherman – extended variation of Fisherman by adding pliers.

526. SwissTool

The Victorinox SwissTool was introduced in 1997. Later on several modifications with different set of tools were released (Version X – with scissors and RS – with belt-cutter). Original version (regular SwissTool) also had a lot of small modifications due to the evolution of tools. The last known (for me) modification – is a current one, when serrated blade changed own shape from regular to the wharncliffe blade.

496. Mountaineer Lite

The Victorinox Mountaineer Lite is a relatively rare 5-layers 91-mm knife, which based on more common Mountaineer model.  Addon “Lite” in it’s name means (as you already know! ;)) that this knife has an additional layer with LED light and inline Phillips screwdriver.

Interesting fact: Mountaineer Lite is a unique model, which was produced only in blue transparent scales.

473. Fischermesser (235 fma ?)

First of all I have to say, that probably I was wrong and this knife is a another modification of  Fischermesser. If you’ll compare images of actual knife with the pictures from Victorinox catalogs (see below), you will find several differences.

  • There are no shackle (keyring instead of it). So it cannot be 235 fmaU fo sure (U – means shackle).
  • Fish inlay on original scales (knife was repaired, photo of original knife you also can find below) was placed on bottom side (Victorinox shield also was present there, as on today’s models Angler/Fisherman). Original Fischermesser had fish inlay instead of shield on top side of scale.
  • This knife has an additional tool (in comparision with 235 fmaU) –  on back-side.

I summary – I don’t know what exactly this model is. I never saw it before and I couldn’t find any information about this knife yet.

So any your help (with identifying this knife) will be very appreciated!

P.S. Knife was repaired (replacing of both blades, new scales) by my friend Ivan.
