I have to agree with SAKWiki’s article, which saying that it’s a “very, very interesting model”.
First of all, it’s not a 100% Victorinox − it has a Wenger shield on scales and Wenger tang stamp on front side of main blade. From other side, it’s absolutely not a Wenger model − because it’s a 84-mm (Wenger series was a 85-mm based), it has a Victorinox tools (blade, combo-tool, toothpick, tweezers and even key-ring) and it has a 100% – genuine Victorinox tang stamp “Officer suisse” on back side of main blade.
Besides of all these facts, no doubt that Premier is a very interesting and unique knife. Victorinox or Wenger? Never mind! Keep calm and collect them all..
Don’t have enough words in order to describe this set…
See previous post
In 2016 Victorinox produced a new “limited run” sets – Color Twins. This set was available in two colors: Fresh Light Green and Orange.
This set includes a two knives: very popular Spartan and… tomato knife). Each of these sets was produced in a very limited run (15’000 per set 🙂
Can you prognose, which knife will be presented in my blog soon? 😉
Specially for East Asian market Victorinox company produced a lot of special runs of their knives. One of these series – Chinese Zodiac Series, which was in production since 2001.
In 2017 in this series was released Huntsman – “Year of the Rooster“.
The Victorinox “flagman” model from 91-mm series – SwissChamp.
This variation has wooden scales, but without place-holders for “plus-tools”: stainless pin and pen.
- Champion (Plus)
- SwissChamp’s series
The Victorinox Climber with non-typical scales’ color.
Very popular model – Victorinox Tinker
, but without famous Swiss Cross
. Instead of habitual cross, this knife has a David’s Star
on the same place.
I think that you have already guessed, for which country this knife was released, isn’t it?
