644. JetSetter Apple 32G

As I promised earlier, today we’ll review another model from JetSetter series. It’s also a part of cooperation with Apple company – JetSetter Apple 32G variation. It’s including not only bigger flash-drive, but partially different tools.
Unfortunately, today I cannot say that will continue review this series soon – third, the latest one (JetSetter Apple 16G) is missing in my collection (for now..)

643. JetSetter Apple 8G

Another pretty rare model, which doesn’t has an own name and belongs to JetSetter series. Current one was released in 2012 as part of cooperation Victorinox with.. Apple company, so unofficially this model was known as JetSetter Apple 8G.
Interesting fact: this is a one from few model, which doesn’t have any tang on blades (because there are no blades!!!)
To be continued..

576. Secure

The Victorinox Secure was a model with a 3rd generation USB Flash Memory (the same one, as was used in Presentation Master model). It was a first implementation of USB-stick with finger-print module.

The Victorinox Midnite Manager@Work  is a relatively new model, which was released in 2015, if I’m not mistaken. Technically, it’s the Midnite Manager model with added USB stick.

403. Presentation Master

Presentation Master model was introduced in 2009 (at least I found first announcement about this knife in Victorinox catalogue — 2009).

So, this knife isn’t so ancient as majority in my collection :), but very valuable for me.
When you see it first time, it looks like very popular SwissFlash / SwissMemory — just another pen-knife with memory stcick. But this is just a first imagination, in comparision with previous models it’s a huge progress. Additionally to well-known models with memory stick this model contains:

  1. Fingerprint scanner (for biometric authentication)
  2. Bluetooth controller (allows simulate «left/right arrow» keyboard keys)
  3. Laser pointer

Althought all these brilliant features this model wasn’t so popular (or maybe was too expensive, who knows?) and Victorinox produced this model only till 2011 (accordingly to SAKWiki).

Anyway, in my opinion it’s a revolutionary knife and «must-have» knife for SAK collectors.
