817. Ambassador

The Victorinox Ambassador is a 74-mm model that looks like the famous 58-mm Classicon steroids‘. This model was produced in different variations of scales, including luxury versions with mother of pearl handles and several variations of gold-plated scales. Unfortunately, I (still) don’t have these ones in my collection, only cheaper versions are present in my collection: with cellidor scales, with smooth Alox scales (also known as Lady Victoria) and relatively rare variation with handles from imitation mother of pearl (it’s a kind of celluloid) – known as Consol model.
Knife, which is a subject of this review, equipped with keyring (usually this model doesn’t have it) and have printed coat of arms of Pfyn (it’s a municipality in Frauenfeld District in the canton of Thurgau in Switzerland)
